Shamanic Reiki integrates shamanic practices with the potent healing energy of Reiki. Shamanic practices are ancient techniques used to align you with earth's energy, your higher spirit, spirit guides, and animal totems to perform transformative healing work. As Michael Harner in The Way of the Shaman states, “The ancient way is so powerful, and taps so deeply into the human mind, that one’s usual cultural belief systems and assumptions about reality are essentially irrelevant”. Shamans frequently transcend reality through varied techniques, including trance through drumming, rattling, dancing, singing, fasting, drinking sacred medicinas, and sometimes all of these are used. (we will not be using any sacred medicinas) Through using shamanic practices with your reiki you are bringing powerful knowledge from the east and the west together, to aid in the healing process for yourself or your client's mind, body and spirit!
Shamanic reiki practitioners can see, feel or hear blocks caused by negative energy, illness, entities, limiting belief, or other intrusions which are preventing their clients from living a full, healthy life. As a Shamanic Reiki practitioner, you will learn to use Shamanic techniques along with Reiki to gently remove these blocks and negative energy. Access the wisdom of your guides, your animal totems, the elements, and other spirits to help you with these healings. Learn to receive this guidance with grace and wisdom, as the ego moves away, allowing your higher self to dance freely with the others.

BakeR Gendron is a fun and inspirational spiritual leader and coach. She has empowered groups and individuals to realize their full potential by stepping through known and unknown barriers. By utilizing spiritual principles with a shamanic twist, she enables you to mold all facets of your life bringing the mind, body, soul connection that you are seeking. BakeR blends her desire to share deep, introspective work with her passion for the outdoors and nature in her retreats.
She is an intuitive, channeling Mamacita a wise Peruvian Spirit Guide, Clairaudient & Clairsentient, Spiritual Life Coach, a Medium, and a Shamanic Reiki teacher/practitioner. BakeR studied with Peruvian Shamans, Maestro Banco Ayahuasquero – Don Rober Acho Jarama and Maestro Huachumero – Don Howard Lawler, in the Peruvian Amazon and Andes Mountains. With their support and guidance, she worked with the sacred medicinas Ayahuasca and Huachuma, furthering her healing and growth.
As a Religious Science Practitioner for over thirteen years she taught many spiritual classes including Self Mastery, Principles of Financial Freedom, Roots of Science of Mind, Spiritual Principles, Science of Mind Foundational, and Mysticism. Her work is based on Religious Science Principles with a Shamanic twist.

Nestled in Oak Creek Canyon along the lush banks of Oak Creek, the Briar Patch Inn invites you to nurture your relationship with nature. At the base of the surrounding red rock mountains, the spring fed waters of Oak Creek create a healing, magical oasis—the perfect setting for the Briar Patch—a quiet blending of 9 acres, 19 cottages, majestic canyon oaks, dappled sunlight, squirrels, sheep, and a caring staff. As one guest exclaimed "You know you are in the right place when you walk in the door and are hit by the aroma of hot cinnamon cider and freshly baked cookies".
Rooms available at Briar Patch:
There are four bedrooms available in the Ponderosa Cabin. Rooms in the Ponderosa will be first come/first serve to those who have paid in full for the retreat and room. See the full description of the Ponderosa on the Briar Patch website above under location. If you choose to stay at Briar Patch Inn a full breakfast is included Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, lunch and dinner on your own. They also have afternoon tea with snacks. If you are staying elsewhere you are responsible for all your own meals. If you’re staying in the Ponderosa retreat cabin you may bring food there is a full kitchen. Baths will be shared by the rest of us during the day.
Pricing for Rooms - includes full breakfast each morning - this is a full hot, scrumptious breakfast.
King Room, one king bed and one twin bed w/attached bath - One person per night = $180. Two people per night = $125 each. Three people per night = $105 each.
Two Queen Rooms with queen beds - One person per night = $145. Two people per night = $85 each.
One Twin room with two twin beds - One person per night = $140. Two people per night = $75 each.
Payment for rooms in the Ponderosa will be paid to Gateway Cottage, contact BakeR for an invoice or payment method for rooms. First come/first serve for rooms.

WORKSHOP Cancellation Policy:
If you should have to cancel unexpectedly here are our terms: Your deposit is fully refundable less a $50 cancellation fee if you cancel in writing by email to baker44x@gmail.com by 5 pm, Arizona time, October 25, 2021. After that date, there are absolutely no refunds. BakeR Gendron and Gateway Cottage Wellness Center LLC reserve the right to cancel programs, retreats, and workshops in the event of natural disasters, inclement weather, a facilitator’s illness or death, damage to the venue, inadequate enrollment, or shut down by the government due to Covid-19 restrictions. We will provide notice by email as soon as possible.
However, BakeR Gendron and Gateway Cottage Wellness Center LLC are unable to refund any transportation, flight, lodging, or other incidental expenses incurred. It is highly suggested you obtain travel insurance. You can review insurance plans here:
